MYCEPT contains the Drug / Molecule Mycophenolate mofetil.
USAGE & DESCRIPTION :
MYCEPT has used for the prophylaxis of organ rejection in patients receiving allogeneic renal, cardiac or hepatic transplants. This drug is also used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as Behet’s disease, pemphigus vulgaris, systemic lupus erythematosus and refractory incomplete lupus erythematosus.

CLINICAL APPLICATIONS :
Mycept belongs to class of dug- immunosuppressive (lowers body’s immune system) which act by inhibiting an enzyme needed for the growth of T cells and B cells. Human body may “reject” an organ transplant when the immune system treats the new organ as an invader. An immunosuppressant helps to prevent this rejection.
Store tablets and capsules at room temperature (25°C). Store powder and reconstituted/infusion solutions at 25°C; excursions permitted to 15°C to 30°C.
